Love this song and was madly in love with Chuck when I was in high school. Glad he's found his way back from his personal hell, but I'm sad that he seems to bear so much bitterness toward his ex-band mates. Chuck, if you read this, what's that saying? Holding a grudge just gives your enemies rental space in your head, or something like that. Namaste ~~ one of your biggest fans.

I was like 8 years old when this song came out. I liked and bought the 45 but it made no sense to me whatsoever: one is the loneliest number? It seems funny now to think of singing along with it and thinking what the heck is he talking about. Some of there other songs were like that to me too but I liked them anyway. As I recall, you could not escape hearing one of their songs on any given day so I just kind of went along with the music.
