i love these old abandoned places. They show us how nature always prevails and create great legends and places of exploration. Centralia in another place that is very... well... abandoned. btw: the tunnel was closed due to the high number of mutants inhabiting it.

@dixiewife47 There are no animals in the tunnels. There's no place for them to nest, nor any food sources. One might wander in occasionally, but that's it.

2 lanes each direction merging into 1 thru the tunnels.......out dated.

Go to google and find out.Its very interesting on why it was closed ( old,slow and outdated ).They by passed it with a new super bigger hwy.
