Yeah the Hendrix fans are really annoying retarded, I definitely agree there. You mention EVH has more enjoyable songs or guitar skills with tapping...etc; they flip out.

the point wasn't lost on me but you just worded it badly. the effect of your statement was: EVH has more enjoyable songs than Hendrix and (more) guitar skills with (via?) tapping which I object to.
not that it matters, but the only reason I replied to the old comment is that it was in the Top Comments.

Jason Becker eclipsed Jimi in technical skills but you say EVH had more "guitar skills with tapping"; bro, tappings not indicative of "guitar skills", Hendrix even tapped during Tax Free as did others...I can tap I wish that made me better than Jimi.

@shredmaster100 Forsure man. Marty, Jason, and David Gilmour are my favorite guitarists. Of them all i think Marty is the best because his skill, style, and how smart he plays. So melodic and dangerous in a sence, most people wouldnt play what he does and thats why hes so unique. Its sad that these guys names aren't "standards" for guitarists. I really hope marty gets invited to play on G3 soon, id love to see him live =]

its good to hear hes still making music he is one of my favourite guitar players and should be ranked with players like slash hendrix or page because he can play almost any stlye on the guitar

@shredmaster100 Hes still out there. he lives in japan now and has had a couple of his own tv shows there i believe. put out a couple solo albums aswell. his most recent is Tokyo Jukebox i think. Whatever hes doing, im sure hes still kicking ass (;
