@shibec69 Oh I agree with you completely. But as an American, I feel nervous about restricting people from access to real estate based on what language they speak or ethnicity...that's a dangerous direction. But maybe that's not what you advocate...
@jupitermoon10011 - Do you mean bring them down to a level that a local first time buyer could afford? Most people have got nothing against English incomers on a personal level - they're friends and get on fine. But it's obviously an extremely destructive situation for the indigenous language and culture, which would be thriving if only if was left alone. Imagine what future there would be for the Basques if their homeland was on the Costa del Sol instead of the Bay of Biscay.

R.I.P Welsh language and culture. In 2001 a third of all properties in Gwynedd were bought by people from outside of Wales. So sad.
