Led Zeppelin - Sam Houston Coliseum - '71

This is a 8mm silent movie ... mostly pre-concert footage by an amateur photographer ....this clip is well know to hard core Zeppelin fans. About to enter tenth grade as a 14 year old this was a night to remember. I found this clip on DimeADozen. The lineage of this clip I believe can be traced back to Charles W. Burwell III and to my knowledge is not copyrighted material. I've seen bootleggers selling this clip on eBay with sound added in from another Zep show. I was there on that memorable night in Houston as a 14 year old about to enter Waltrip H.S.

I love this video. I didn't start going to shows at the Coliseum until '74, but some of my favorite moments in my life were spent at the Coliseum/Music Hall complex. I recognize every angle, every corridor. Most likely a bunch of my friends are at this show.
