  • Hahahaha. He knows very well how to sing, thank you. The best ones in this role are THE GREAT MAESTRO NICOLAI GHIAUROV and BORIS CHRISTOFF. GHIAUROV sings it light and noble too, but it sounds great.

The beautiful basso voice is not about singing it dark and closed, but light and noble. Personal experience.

  • He's not being a singer singing an aria, he's being Mefistofeles. That's not to everyone's taste.

  • is this supposed to take place in coney island or something? nice!!

  • Don't forget Cesare Siepi, incredible!

  • bäh, no good, some notes are to high and not well in the written tempo. His Leporello is much better.

  • Et Satan conduits le bal, conduits le bal!

Et Satan conduits le bal, conduits le bal!

  • Belt it Furlanetto! Your the man! :)

  • Mi ricordo questo spettacolo dal vivo Furlanetto era migliore Mephistofeles dal Pertusi e naturalmente dal Raimondi...nel 21 secolo la voce di basso non esiste piu,una triste realtá .

  • Nope, not yet it seems. It is a great performance.

I have a dvd of Don Giovanni, he sings Leporello @ Vienna, w Karajan. He's awsome.

  • is there a cd of him in this role?
