@mwd92 Gutting the catalytic converters opens up the exhaust allowing more volume of flow! That in turn takes allows more HP. Not much but some. It's best to just delete the cats all together and get a full name brand exhaust system! Or build a good custom exhaust system. I have Borla exhaust on my Camaro and no Cats!
