David Cameron should have shown some respect for the innocent mortgage payers and small businesses who lost their homes and businesses in Major’s Black Wednesday mess before saying he was proud of what John Major had done for the Conservative Party and the country.
John Major is a leader who should have been booed.
I like him but he seems a bit schoolboy like. Not like the statesman presence of Blair and Brown etc. I think an older man would have been better especially in a time of great crisis. Having said that he is perhaps more trustworthy than Cameron or Clegg, who as far as I can see have been trained in the old school of Murdochesque politics. Well perhaps not Clegg, he is just a pretender.
A thought provoking speech from a thoughtful man. We do need a approach or new bargain in this country as it is the old ideas have lead us to the state we're in.
If you want more "business as usual" then either you're one of those looting the system (at the top or bottom) or you you simply don't understand how the system looting you.

I don't care what people say-he's the next PM. Red Ed isn't so bad a name either-when looking at Blue, Red is progress.
