ThankX to...."City Lights Bookstore"...and the grooviest of the entire chain in the world...Tower Records" on Columbus...I was able to somehow NOT miss...the whole happening...as it occured around me! PS~ One never went hungry...with "The Hog Farm" in the neighborhood!
pretty cool, but wheres the sgt pepper album cover? or Richard Brautigan? or colorful pictures of hippies? 67 was not in black or white,it was psychedelic color, so forget the cover of the book The Sixties, that got it wrong from the start. What made that era great was the colors. Park in front of walmart today, dec. 6, 2008, and count how many people are wearing colors, most are wearing black or gray, really. "brother can you take me back? can you take me ba-ack.."
