@MacMan4193 i know you posted this two years ago but i thought id answer your question anyway haha. its actually acting as an aileron (turning the yoke left). hes correcting for a crosswind, since as the plane speeds up, the wind will start lifting up one side of the airplane as he gets closer to v1 and rotation. this keeps the aircraft straight and level

today i flew from oak to lax on swa 737-300 and i was able to sit in the cockpit and play with the flaps rudders speed brakes etc while at the gate in lax so awesum!!!!!

I'm flying at the end of next month from im hoping BWI to cincinnati or Memphis to OKC, Im a first time flyer, flying by myself, going to see my g/f so it kinda takes the fear away...until im ready to board the plane....
