It's all in the mindset. Of course some of us just have less pain sensors in that part of our body. :) My first child the nurse is like: How bad are your contractions? Me: I don't know. Is this is one?

My cousin's last name is Vicuña.. lol

Animals handle birth a whole lot better than humans XDD We're all 'PAIN MEDICATION. NOOOOW' and they're like 'Duuuude chilllllll'.

about...I think she IS giving birth...
-
@LuckyDukeSeven Yes, pretty much just recombination.

Mutations rarely cause evolution today. The evolutionary trends we see today are all based on natural-selection of recessive traits that are masked. Literal Darwinian theory. I agree with preservation though.
-
@SamuraiX38 Also, evolution doesn't really work that way, although I wouldn't be surprised if there happens to be relatively faster occurrence of genetic mutations withing sub-populations due to artificially accelerated changes in the environment. But for now, we can't be sure animals will adapt to current conditions quickly and thus, and as more aware species, we have a responsibility in helping to preserve endangered animals.
-
@SamuraiX38 We've become self-aware of what our role is in nature as animals thanks to Darwin. But many of us have, in attaining this knowledge, pursued against the constraints nature puts on living things. In a way, you can say we've been avoiding our fate ever since finding out what our 'natural role' is. It's like finding out you're on a hidden cam television show: you'll try so hard to not make an ass of yourself after you have most likely done prior to knowing this.
-
@spicychickenwing31 You make a valid argument, but the medical advancements we make are because we have evolved to be able to break that law. If the other species wanted to survive that badly, they would take the same steps towards evolutionary advancements. Don't get me wrong though, i'm not saying we should leave all animals to become extinct. But sometimes nature should be left to do its own job, after all, she's been doing so for eons.
