@LadyLapisLazuli yeah, but Katy definelly can hit notes in head voice, search for her singing brick by brick in mtv unplugged, and at the end of the song, she hits a G#5/G5 in head voice twice, and she also does headvoice in hackensack, but I don't remeber the part.

She has a nice-sounding chest voice, but absolutely no head voice... Even when it's not out of tune, it's breathy and barely audible. So naturally, she pushes her chest voice too high to try to avoid using her head voice, and sings out of tune in her chest voice as well. She needs to work on her technique!

I have been told that she could not sing, and this video just proved their point. Absolutely horrible....I guess if you have a decent body and an average voice, you can make it big.
