"Baladi Sangaran" by Cassandra Fox Bellydance performance One World 2011 Cultural Showcase

My Egyptian Baladi performance. This one was after my Caribbean Fusion performance. From the 2011 One World Culture Show Case at the University of Guelph put on by the International student association. It was an honour to be invited back to dance. This was my 4th year performing at One World. One World 2008 was my second dance performance ever, very sentimental, hehehe.
Song is Baladi Sangaran by Mario Kirlis
Improvised like every other performance.

I normally don't wear my skirts this low however that is the only way I can get this skirt/belt combo to stay where it is supposed to lol.
This costume is by Hoda Zaki and was purchased from www.bellydancestore.biz
The white skirt underneath was made by my Grandma! Thanks Gram! xoxo

Btw the belt is not too low! This is how you should wear it.

It felt low lol! Probably because of the "fluff" on some of my belts makes them look higher.

You are just so much fun to watch. Not just because you're damn good (which you are), but also because of the sheer joy you express in dancing. I love watching you dance! You've got that rare light shining through, and it's so refreshing to see! My one comment is to watch the elbows. Avoid making a W... lift them away from your waist a little. It would frame the belly work beautifully!

I'm also a belly dancer, but I'm begginer on the stage.. the way how you move is amazing. But I guess that you are the one fo the dancer that I feel I can dance a little bit similar to you. But what is, for me, the most important is that you love dance. I really have up to my nose dancers who just smile, because they have to, as they mask. While watching your video I had big smile on my face, cause you are so optimistic, ful of energy, and you just play with dance! P.S. Love your shimmy
