Spinning 6 LEDs wired to a 3 phase brushless motor on Dremel rotary tool.

This was inspired by some devices Ken built to visualize magnetic fields:

  • Ha. Neat. So the spindle of the motor is chucked up in the dremel and the led's are soldered to the windings on the motor?

  • @jeriellsworth Yes, that's it. I'm not sure why the LEDs continue to shine when it's rotating at a constant speed. I was hoping to see something as it speeded up, but now I'm not sure what's going on exactly. :)
