Images of Keith and John set to their song We Close Tonight. Bless Keith, he should never have been allowed near a microphone - he tried, but as Pete Townshend once said "Keith Moon...singing with a small s" - he had a point!

This is a wonderful song...when I first heard it on cd years ago I thought it was a Townshend song with Pete singing it...go figure! Keith and John were the greatest ever!
Nice video tribute...thanks!

I love this song. Odds and Sod(d)s is my favorite Who record, because it is like a cross-section of their identity : It showcases different periods of their early career and every other band should be jealous that their leftovers are better than their regular records. Plus, it has the greatest song ever written - Pure and easy, what more could you ask for ?? I'm building a HiWatt clone for someone right now, and this song keeps playing in my head...

I actually thought it was written by John. Sounds very much like his solo stuff. Great song and a greater find by the guys.

See, now I've got a bee in my bonnet...This still was taken from the Coliseum gig in 1969, I thought it was funny - and so did Keith and John when it happened.
And in any case, they DID love each other. They were very good friends for a long time. Nobody was intimating they were gay, certainly not me. Anyway, Keith used to snog random people all over the place - he liked to stir things up. It was just in his nature to provoke people. IT'S A JOKE....YOU KNOW? A JOKE?
