  • i would have to say i ride on the beach a lot and even when it's wet it's really never slippery because of the gritty sand. i guess this beach could be different than ours but i doubt it...

    anyways, cute horse!!

  • it may not be slippery, but it puts a lot of strain on a horse's legs when it is jumping out of mud or wet sand, but anyway, good video, ur horse jumps well

  • Red Rum was trained on the beach

  • Theses horses are probably increddible fit..

  • Neat idea :) I don't see any problem with jumping on the beach, so long as you ensure it has proper footing. :)

  • Personally, I don't see any difference between this and jumping in a sandschool!

I seriously doubt that the owner of this stallion would consider it if it was even the slightest bit dangerous!

Just give credit where it's due to a beautiful horse and some good jumping!

  • If you would take the time to "pause" the video will will see that the horses foot is sitting on the surface of the sand and it is in no way SOFT. Needless to say, we know the beach like the back of our hands and wouldn't ever put any of our horses in danger by jumping on a dangerous / soft surface. We use it every day to exercise our horses.

  • It is not muddy, it is not slippery, it is a better surface than most indoor/ outdoor schools, the foot just makes an impression on the surface. There is no mud there whatsoever. The only reason it was wet that day is because the tide had not long gone out. I have worked ghorses on this beach for years and years and have never had a mishap or a serious injury .

  • thats dangerous, the horse could slip and break its legs or crush you and mandy other serious injuries and its difficult for a horse to jump out of mud or wet sand.

  • nice riding howd u get jumps on the beach!?
