@jamaica1681 It's very unlikely. It may be an old violin, maybe another maker. But I highly doubt it's a Stradivarius.

All of his violins are kept track of by the Stradivari Society and there are only a few that are missing or stolen. The chances of that being authentic are very, very slim.

If the tuning pegs are 20/1 in taper ratio it's somewhere less than a hundred years old.Almost all violin/fiddles are strad design.If another peg fits,it confirms no chance of original.
