Mia's First Crush

My 3 year old's fascination with the now President-Elect, Barack Obama. We never said his name much in our house, so when she yelled out "Aahk-Obama" one day (with such joy in her voice I must say) it shocked me! At 2 1/2 years old, she fell in love. Her first crush!

Although we are excited to see Barack Obama & his family in the white house my husband and I lean conservative/independent politically so Mia's fascination was her own creation!

Every time he was on t.v. she would yell out his name! She would run up to the t.v. and try to touch him, say she wants to get on the t.v. and dance with him & even said that HE would be sad if HE didn't get to meet HER! I think she's right!
