2010 Black Bear Rally Stage 1

In-car footage from Car 19, Mark Biernacki/Jeff Hagan on stage 1 of the 2010 Can-Jam Motorsports Black Bear Rally.

We lost about 7 minutes when we spun out and got stuck on the edge of the road, blocking the stage (@ 2:57). The cars behind us tried their best to pull us out, but they weren't able to get us un-stuck completely. Sweep pulled us out with a quick tug and we were back underway.

Not only is it hard work but that road has a clay base which, after 24 hours of rain, means it's like driving in baby crap.

Jeff - How did you eventually get out - manpower or did someone tug you out?

@nhibbert42 - the guys in the Lada tried to pull us out but couldn't. Then Michelle arrived and managed to move us a bit until we got stuck again. It was enough to give a clear car-width and they couldn't do anything more, so everyone who we had held up went by.

It was Sweep that finally pulled us back out and onto the road.

That makes sense. The car just seemed to be hard to handle. The roads were like driving on baby crap wooooooohoooooo qet clay.

@livetorally car is AWD, the suspension wasnt set good enough, check stage 3+ it was a lot better.

Also it looks like they are in a RWD and with the weather that was on the day it would be SO much harder then an AWD and even a FWD.

Most people have NO idea how hard they are working. It is SO much harder then most people think that it is. Very taxing on the mind and body for the most part.

definitely not the beset driver but i cant say i would do much better
