Please don't be rude to Tara, Missgreenday. Tara is just doing her job. As for Mao, she's determined more than ever to prove that she's the best. To make it even more my point, the 2010 Olympic really turned out to be nothing special even with the showcasing and the placement of the three figure skaters. As much I enjoyed watching other figure skaters do their stuff, Mao is one of my most favorable, the most pleasing in comparison to the other newer figure skaters out there.

why does everyone forget that Mao has a SILVER MEDAL. That is not a "fall". That is her being better than everyone except Yu-Na Kim.... and she too good to let that keep happening for long.

@SkateNater Having a challenging adversary is what motivated Kwan to perform her best, especially when expectations were not in her favor. I think Kim and Asada have pushed each other to be better skaters, and Kim sitting out the GP Series didn't motivate Asada to skate better, given the dismal field (although I don't think Czisny is dismal at all, the only challenge she has is herself). I won't excuse Asada's poor season on Kim's account, but she didn't seem engaged by the competitions.
