Dont get me wrong Favre is a great QB one of the greatest, anybody whon truly doubts that is crazy he was just more agressive than most greats a lot more agressive which led to his many INTS, with that said he should nevvvvvvverrrrrrrrrrr be above Joe, John or Steve all three were more complete QBs and their numbers and rings show it...

@filthyswit My gosh. Did you even read my list? I put Curtis Painter as one of the best ever. Do you really think I was being serious? Ryan Leaf? Of course Marino would be on my list. Btw, I don't know if you're a Dolphin fan or not, but I really think Matt Moore will be the best 'Phin QB since Marino. I went to college with him. Great guy. He's the real deal.

@TWINKIEful Because Montana did not beat Marino. The 49ers beat the Dolphins. Is Bob Griese better than Fran Tarkenton because the Dolphins beat the Vikings in that SB? Are Phil SImms and Doug Williams better than John Elway because because their teams beat the Broncos in the SB?

Montana had wow just (((8))) fumbles,,and those all came when he played his last 2 yrs with the Chiefs,,and only 5 were lost,& Joe's lifetime passer rating is 92.3,,compared to Bretties 86.0,,And let us remember ,Joe WON 4 Superbowls in just 16 yrs,,that's 25%,,of his yrs played,,Even better if you don't count the Chiefs!!

One thing that I don't like about these list is when someone says they never won the big game. Hey my Ravens won a Super Bowl with Trent Dilfer, and he is just barely OK. How about the team around them? Some great QB's have shitty teams around them...Archie Manning. My favorite QB's are Dan Marino and Dan Fouts and they never won the big games no defence and little running games. Let's see how well the Colts play in 2011 without Manning since he is great.
