When you kill a boss does only the summoner (Human form player) progress forward, and the summoned (hollowed player) only gets experience? Is it possible to help one another each fight the same boss twice so both players can progress forward to the next area?
Basically, is it possible to play with a friend from start to finish?

@sskott2010 Yes, it is. You just have to keep alternating which player is human so they can summon the other in.

when you say you finally joined in together, did you need to reload your game? Or just keep putting the summon signs down until it appears to the other player? Me and my gf can't seem to get in eachothers worlds on DS
