#10-Transitioining to Natural Hair - month 8- Half Big Chop

Hey Y'all I'm currently in my on to 8th going on 9th month of transitioning from relaxed to natural hair.

This video is of my MINI (half) Big Chop of the back of my hair which I did on Thanks giving day 11/26/09.

I'm super excited about the new do and am looking forward to try out different styles. I'm loving the look so I will continue to hold off on the big chop.

I did the same thing a few weeks ago I didn`t like it at first but i think i got use to it. . i have been transitioning for about 4 months now and am planning on doing the big chop in 3 months, I hope i have the courage hahaha

ive been transitioning for 9 months. my mom said my hair is bushy and dosen't look good and she won't pay for me to do my hair unless i get a perm. my dad says hes ashamed of my hair. aftr mch protestin & speeches abt how technically they are forcing me to do damage to my hair and myself and abt black pride & hw muchh ealthier natural hair is im being forced to get a perm this saturday. my hair dresser says there is no way i can get tracks w/ out getting a perm and tht even flat irons wont wrk

Wow, your hair is gorgeous. I've been transitioning for 9.5 months and was considering half chop (chopping it all off in the back and some of it in the front) but wasn't sure what it would look like. Someone recommended I come here to check out videos of people who did it and you have encouraged me. I think I'm gonna do it!
