@showersinger34 clogging is on the off beat while tap is the on beat and clogging is flat footted and the shoe has a double tap instead of a single tap and tapping is mostly done on the toes

Clogging shoes have double taps that make a different kind of sound. There are also different steps for clogging and tap.
