Herschel observes infrared light, and Planck observes microwave radiation. Launched in tandem into orbits over a million kilometres from Earth, together they will study different aspects of the 'cold' cosmos.

  • ....indeed , a concerted effort is needed globaly for us to break such scientific barriers , that as of now , hold us to the genius observations of our PAST ancestors !
