High street shops are falling over themselves to stock organic cotton clothes, from M&S and Topshop to Dorothy Perkins and Primark. But why exactly is organic cotton so important? Newconsumer.tv caught up with shoppers, campaigners and fashion legend Katharine Hamnett to find out.

  • @nonew3 patagonia has organic cotton, little pricy but great products! Look them up

  • Thank goodness that I am strictly organic! However, I have not been able to find a single store in my city that carries any organic cotton clothing other than one store in the mall that has only a couple T shirts and some socks. Unfortunately, I have to go online if I want to get more than that.

  • It'll be nice if organic cotton becomes the norm! Nice video.
