  • Read Nov 15 study Watchtower about Jehu.

  • @ThirdNUnion: Getting involved in politics and FIGHTING FOR ONE'S RIGHTS are different things. I read somewhere that the JWs were prohibited to preach from door to door and moved a suit to guarantee that they can preach from door to door. What's is the difference between this and VOTING? Voting means that you want a candidate that will fight for your rights so you won't have to do it.I do agree that NO POLITICIAN is perfect but just saying "politics if from the devil" won't help much...

  • @ThirdNUnion: You said we should follow GOD instead of MEN but the teachings of the JWs regarding WAR and POLITICS (i.e not going to war of voting) have no biblical basis. A true christian just can't live isolated with that attitude "I'm not from this world"(which should be true in the spiritual sense) but should rather give a testimony of how one should live for God. Back to the subject, give a CLEAR TEXT in the bible saying that we CANNOT VOTE and GO TO WAR.

  • @ThirdNUnion: I think you're mixing up things because the context in the book of Daniel is IDOL WORSHIP, for which Daniel was against(He chose GOD's commandments). However, Romans 13 SAYS we must follow authority because there is no authority that wasn't allowed by God, even though we can't agree with everything. If the JWs don't agree with war and the current politics they should VOTE and fight for their rights and not try to be evasive and say that ALL GOVERNMENTS are from the devil.

  • @levinjapan In the book of Daniel they find themselves in a situation of 'obey secular authority or God' Romans 13:1a. When were faced with such a scenario we must OBEY God as ruler instead of men Acts 5:29, war is not something to follow orders of, a TRUE Christian will disobey that order. Isaiah 2:2-4

  • @ThirdNUnion: What do you mean with that? Could you give me some verses? My first impression of the book

of Daniel is that he was praying to receive a blessing and gets hindered by the prince of Persia (Satan).

I don´t see any relevance to going to war or not. Cheers

  • @levinjapan PLEASE REEXAMINE THE BOOK OF DANIEL

  • """Who is judging whom? I just said i don't agree with JWs teachings. Also, judgment implies giving a sentence.""" WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT? OK THATS FINE YOU YOURSELF SAID IT

  • @levinjapan : "you have the right to thing" : have the right to THINK

  • @ThirdNUnion: Who is judging whom? I just said i don't agree with JWs teachings. Also, judgment implies giving a sentence. I cannot affirm what is going to happen to people who have their own interpretation of the bible. However, you have the right to thing that the JWs have the TRUTH. As for me, I prefer to continue my personal relationship with Jesus Christ and keep on learning the bible at church. Take care!!!
