Betty's 42nd Wedding Anniversary Celebration with Rick at Brown Hotel in Louisville, KY

Rick and I celebrated our 42nd wedding anniversary on January 23. We spent the night at the historic Brown Hotel in Louisville, Kentucky. This video shows our pleasant stay at the Brown Hotel. We enjoyed a Bourbon flight at the Lobby Bar and later had the famous Hot Brown Sandwich, which was created by the Brown Hotel back in the early years, when the grand ballroom became a gathering place for dancing in the evening, The Brown Hotel was built in 1923 at a cost of $4 million at that time. It is a beautiful hotel, and the service is wonderful. We enjoyed a large king room, with red wine and chocolate-dipped strawberries delivered to our room. @trisheilers Rick here--it's the Nikon D7000. I really like it so far, but it is a complicated system to use all its capabilities and requires lots of time to study the manual. Or you can just set it on "auto" and click away, but then you might as well save $500 and buy a less sophisticated system. I had a hard time deciding between this and one of the Canon models (probably the 60D), but this is a new design with dual SD cards, magnesium body, and lots of other neat features.
