Película protagonizada por Daniel Radcliffe quien interpreta a Jack Kipling, cuyo padre utiliza sus influencias, para alistar a su Hijo, en el Ejército, a pesar de haber sido rechazado dos veces, por sufrir de una severa miopía.
@kathrynjudy I think that he knew that everyone needed motivating to take on the German army, earlier in the film it explains that the British had less than 200,000 men against 1.5m german soldiers. In real life Kipling knew what must be done and that was to enlist as many young men as possible otherwise face being destroyed as a nation. Kipling was a major propaganda frontman for the war effort and therefore having his own son fight was a major image factor, plus he was just a proud father.
Considering the fact that Rudyard Kipling was a literary genius his speed with which he wanted to send his son as cannon fodder is repulsive....was kipling naive
or couldn't bear the thought that his family would look cowardly if Jack didn't go......
