Jeff Wayne - War of the worlds (Live) (Eve of the war)

I own this DVD and it's awesome!
I used to listen to the cd when I was little (am 20 now) and I never thought this would be a live performance... let alone done by Jeff Wayne :D it has been so well done.
My favorites are Forever Autumn, Spirit of Man and A Whole New World

Err... no. It was a kind of 'concept album' - a brilliant one - issued in 1978 as a double (vinyl!) album. Jeff Wayne has toured it for years and it's a bl***y brilliant live show. Album first, show second.

Have you never read the novel by H.G. Wells? Or seen the films, personally my favorite is the 1953 version. However this stays true to the novel written in 1898. If you get the chance you should listen to the whole epic album, and I do not use the word "epic" that often.

The Martians kill everyone and open up alien versions of McDonalds and eat nothing but cauliflower cheese (in a burger bun with sesame seeds)
