  • Regarding clutch abuse, I put car in sport mode (had been driving all day in regular), and put my foot down as if I were in regular mode, so yes RPMS were higher than normal and it wasn't the ideal launch. Point of video was to show sound changes with exhaust components, I am not nor do I claim to be a driving expert ;).

  • Dyno is completed, ~295whp / ~350bhp with mods shown in video. Visit Planet-9 forums to see the charts, search for thread title "Borla Exhaust gets Fabspeed Headers"

  • @FrozenFears how much power did you get from just the exhaust and headers? cause i saw you put 350 with mods in the video but under the comments i read something about ecu and stuff, just wondering, car sounds great

  • @jerruno93 ECU and intake were installed together, worth about 10-15hp, headers and exhaust added 30-35hp

  • Did you also use the Softronics ECU? I think that's what you meant. I was undecided between that one and the GIAC tune. I like the fact the Softronics one can be returned to stock with the original file at any time.

  • @bavariamotorist

Yes, both ECU tune and the race plenum are from Softronic.

  • sounds like an RB-26 :p

  • That sounds amazing!

  • @SleepingWithKellin The clutch is very nice on later model porsches, especially the cayman s. It's very easy to drive it

  • @SeattleN8 Please enlighten me on "the feel of the clutch". I'm 17, drive an automatic '11 Mustang, and am interested in buying a used Porsche in the future.

  • If you guys have driven a cayman, you would know that his start is perfect due to the feel of the clutch. How do I know? I own one. Great video. Fantastic sound!

  • Real nice sounding car....A lot of clutch slipping on take off though...I bet those suckers are spendy.. I love borla exhaust!

  • You really need to learn how to drive.... sweet car though

  • You need a longer tunnel bro...
