Apart from the initial bit, this opening is really upbeat, it kinda makes it seem like "everything's going to be alright in the end, this is an occasionally cheerful teen drama where everyone ends up happy" style of music....how badly did they misjudge that? :D Amazing Anime, even better manga, though I've not checked in on the manga since volume 27.

@nelsonta00 same over here, although I'm not yet that long into the manga. Seeing as they release only one chapter a month I'm certain our grandchildren might probably be the first ones to witness the whole story in its glory^^

@GrantDanasty0 The opening is the philosophy of the Godhand, how everything is controlled by fate and no one has real choices. But the series is about people trying their best to reject destiny and make their own choices. So it's one philosophy vs the other.

When will this manga end?!?! D:< They are still trying to take Caska to the fruity fairyland for the past 3 or so years and its still going on!!!!!! By the pace the mangaka is going (too f'n busy playing his date-sims [damn you moe!]), I'm not expecting this stupid arc to end in another 10 years. I've spent over 15yrs for the manga to end and it seems like I'll be taking the ending to the grave :/.

@GrantDanasty0 Yes, you're right, like i said - the whole series is about fate, and the protagonist is one of the very few people in the berserk world who is not bound by fate - but one who can alter it.

@haunter600 !!!SPOILER ALERT!!! of course you could be right and it is as you say it is, but he did survive the eclipse and so did Casca all because of him but at the same time he's had that Behelit's with him for a while now it makes me wonder will a time come when he does use it? I really need to pick up the 3 newest volumes.
