The first 3rd Grade camp on a beautiful spring day. The kids settled into their tents and then a full day of activities. Habitat studies of the stream and camp orchard yielded many interesting butterflies, dragon flies, "Ku-gwa" fish, shrip, crabs, a stick bug! The oranges, guavas and plums are just starting to show. The campers also began their climbing skill training on the low side of our climbing tower. A dinner of meat balls and gravy with mashed potatoes, salad, veggies, and garlic bread was enjoyed by all and then camp songs and s'mores by the camp fire with many stars in the sky. A perfect spring day at camp.
