George performed this in his solo recital for the 18th Annual Music Festival Walnut Hill on August 12, 2009. The Festival is organized by Foundation for Chinese Performing Arts.

George has had a great success in his recital concert. The Keiter Center was filled with warm hearted music lovers - teachers and friends, and they gave George a great encouragement.

We are extremely grateful to George's Piano Teacher Ms. Byun, George's music mentor Maestro Churchill, George's guardian angel Ms. Cathy Chen, Piano Department Chair Ms. Roth, Chamber Music coach Ms. Blustein, Music Theory Chair Mr. Larry Bell, Conductor Maestro Zander, Piano Seminar Teacher Mr. Rivera, and all the great teachers in the Prep School of New England Conservatory.

We would also like to thank Mrs. Dorothy Shi and Mr. Chengzong Yin, who have built a strong solid piano foundation for George.

We would like to express our deepest appreciation to George's Mother-Music-School -- The Prep School of NEC, where he acquires all his music knowledge and where he received careful nurture toward a young piano artist.

We thank all of those who attended the concert - your appearance has been the great honor of the Li family!

I haven't played this movement yet, I'm currently working through this Sonata and I'm on the first movement. This is one of my favourite Beethoven Early Sonatas.

  • @Lawrencelovespiano Quite right! Those are all famous chestnuts we all know and love. Not as many know this movement. I fell in love with it the first time I played it. George's performance reminds me of those happy times.

Yes, I love this movement also. One of my favourite slow movements by Beethoven are: Sonata Pathétique - Andante Cantabile and Moonlight Sonata - Adagio Sostenuto. Very beautiful movements.

  • Fantastic as always George!! A sincere and absolute pleasure to listen!!

  • This is the jewel of this sonata and perhaps of all Beethoven's early sonatas. Your playing is perfect in every detail.

  • Amazing...!!!

  • Thank you for your music! I listen in awe. Andy

  • A great pianist. And then: abundant evidence on Y/T: one of the nicest persons you could ever wish to meet.

  • Magnifique interprétation ! Bravo George !

  • bravo toujours le meilleur. Amitié
