Techno dance song with a great beat. I think of this song every time I hear the UPS guy beeping.

  • Are you from Houston ?. I was born and raised there. I grew up in Alief. I went to 6400, Therapy, red square, shark dance, dv8, efx, studio circus, peters wild life, club zoo, which was in Rosenberg. I was a club kid from hell. This song brings back a ton of memories. I used record live on Maxell tapes the dj sets off of 93Q. This was before it went country. Oh I went to splash which was on Westhiemer. Any way if your not from Houston then you missed the greatest club scene in Texas

  • I should have never sold this record. Who remembers club Therapy in Houston? I wish I still had all my 80's vinyl.

  • wow! so many Houston references! I miss those days, so much has changed. I can;t find this song anywhere! any suggestions?

  • @ecmatic

heh, this is very true!! I don't think I've ever heard anyone spin this anywhere else, & people outside of Houston & the scene have never heard this song.

  • This tune takes me back to the old school night life of Houston. It used to be where you can park your car on Westhiemer and take a night stroll down the club scenes. The old Numbers was rocking on Thursday (ladies night). But that have changed now, too much crimes, and you might get picked up by the police or a hooker. (smile)

  • Holy Crap!!! I have been looking for this forever! From Houston! I used to go to Therapy, Cars, NRG, and #'s. I always had a suit coat and glasses on with jacked up hair. Good times!

  • chuck from Houston / NRG/#'s/red square/Club AM/therapy/powertools/some i cant remember/some im just too tired to type!!! lol Any way ...Im still here!!!

  • @mrdefkon1 I am; my uncle went to Hastings :) We are totally on the same wavelength. #s class of 92 :)

  • OK this is just weird. This is the SECOND time I've run into Houston and #s people tonight... tell me... you guys think it's the music? ;)

  • anyone interested should check out "The King of Griefs" raido show every Tuesday's sometime between 12 & 4:00pm on the college raido station. I don't remember at the moment which one though-it's either 90.1 or 91.7F.M. He will take requests and has almost all the songs you could think of that were played back then. unfortunately all my 12"s were destroyed in an apartment fire out in Phoenix and it's hard to explain a song this Colm iii one to anyone out there. no one i met had ever heard it!

  • I love reading these threads. i'm another h-town club kid who found my love on 93Q's fri & sat night radio shows. 3 or 4 dozen recorded tapes later I found myself old enough to finally see the inside of the places I could only dream about before. Closest to me was cars on 1960 where The Normals, "Warm Leatherett" was the house song with the (does anyone else remember?) electric slide being the house dance everytime it was played. Anotherone was N10city off Hwy.6. both came after club 6400.
