sounds like they were drivin this bus in 2nd the entire time. takes the fun out of drivin the flx.

@jtizzle369 Nope, bus wasn't in 2nd; it was in "D" throughout out the recording, went thru all 3 gears like normal. The quality of the recording is degraded here on YouTube, so you might not hear it well. I suspect GRTC is not switching to any other manufacturer then Gillig for the forseeable future. Many TAs are making their attempts to have almost their entire fleet made by 1 manufacturer. GRTC with Gillig. Same possibly with HRT. And even Delaware DART. And DC, Baltimore, and Philly more likely New Flyer for the forseeable future.

Not necessarily true there. It has been said that GRTC may move towards CNG in the future. And Gillig doesn't make CNG buses and no longer provides CNG conversion kits for existing buses.
You might be right on HRT, seeing that they are currently going towards hybrid-electric vehicles.
