You are confusing what it means to be human. Our ability to think critically, and resist primal urges through our ability to learn, abstract, and sympathize. This is HUMAN nature. If you want to be with the animals, fine, but that is not natural, it is copping out.

That's a cultural construct. Nature is predatory and prone to endemic warfare. One species ruthlessly assaults another for its own mercenary survival. Man's exploitation of nature is as natural as morning foam on the sea. It's a part of our evolution. If you want to believe in this religion of environmentalism, that's fine. But don't pretend there's anything natural about it. It's decidedly unnatural.

I still am yet to see another guitar player use the wammy-bar like that while singing. And the way he puntuates it with those amazing little rythmic "chops". That would be enough for me, but the words stab right at the political heart of it all. Intelligence and virtuosity, solid Cockburn!
