  • So you have to buy a sound package and program it into the decoder on programming track after installing it?

  • @santoro2020 TopHobbyTrains 'Sound Packages' are offered for specific locomotives. The packages are complete including installation labor, parts, decoder, decoder programming and testing. In the case of the LokSound family of decoders TopHobbyTrains provides a custom 'sound project' in most cases. This project may include a remix of sounds, inclusion of custom sounds, motor control settings and custom lighting settings. LokSound programmer is needed to accomplish this task.

  • TopHobbyTrains Soundtraxx Tsunami packages include installation, parts, and custom programming of the decoder motor control, lighting effects and sound settings to take full advantage of the rich suite of customization options No programmer is needed to program Tsunami decoders. All sound packages are fully prototyped so that end results are consistent within the installation department. TopHobbyTrains wants the inside of your loco to look as good as the outside.

  • I'm curious as to where you put the speaker on this. I have an 8-40CW, the shell is pretty much identical dimension-wise, but I can't work out where to put the speaker. Is it in the cab? It kind of looks like you've removed the side windows, but I can't tell for sure.

  • @milkymoocowmoo

The speaker is installed into the fuel tank area after wee mill the frame.

  • Can we send our GEVOs to you for this mod?

  • Yes You can go to our web page TophobbyTrains to purchase this sound package.

  • Oh cool My layout 12" or 11" radius I hope will be okay for GEVO can run or not

  • The layout in the video uses 16" minimum radius for the main line. The GEVO and the SD70MAC will run on tighter radius but will not look as good. They will run nicely through Atlas # 4 switches.

  • I want to know what minimum radius for GEVO ?
