Intelligent or not you have to be able to speak well to get elected. This is one of the big reasons Obama was elected they fell in love with an articulate black man. If she had given better interviews she would be the Senator from NY. Why do you think Chelsea Clinton is becoming a reporter on NBC? To get her training so she can be given her rightfull spot in Gov't because of her name! Good Luck NY'ers because in 2-4 years another Clinton will be your Senator/Congresswoman.
