Virgil Goode makes a huge gaffe by participating in the Scottsville, VA parade accompanied by a Hummer H3.
His opponent for Congress, Tom Perriello, arrived in a bio-diesel fueled tractor complete with its very own bluegrass band.

Yea, I heard about it too! Too bad I'm not in his district, I'd vote for Perriello. I'd personally send a Toyota Prius to pick up Goode and drive him back to VA after losing the election!! Shame on him. VA needs someone like Perriello who doesn't mind rolling up his sleeves and will work hard for US! Not someone that's trying to impress us. You can tell Goode's office staff is writing responses because they blame it on the 'leftists' If Perriello will sweat for us now, he'll do it in DC too

P.S. Why is it that when someone is exposed, it is automatically blamed on the "leftists?" BTW, tywiggle, are you saying that someone put a gun to Goode's head and made him get in the HUMMER? I read Perriello graduated from Yale, but if his supporters asked him to ride in a HUMMER, he would have most likely said "no thank you." It's like eating a steak in front of a homeless shelter and blaming it on your friend that bought you the steak! Give me a break. My vote would be for the tractor guy.

"Goode"never looked so BAD!!I heard about this youtube video and I don't even live in his district!! It has nothing to do with whether he owns the hummer or not. How can he go and comfort/inspire the poor in his district when he steps out of a HUMMER?? Perriello rode on a tractor! Seems like Perriello is more our type. Goode is a prime example of what is wrong with our nation now. I'd vote for whoever walks the talk. And don't blame the 'leftists' for showing us Goode's REAL COLORS!

Goode Grief Indeed. Grief to the leftists that have a big target painted on the good Congressman's back as illustrated by this unsubstantiated spin. Now, I dare interject mere facts. The Hummer is owned by a successful small businessman in Fluvanna County. Congressman Goode had nothing to do with the presence of the vehicle. The Fluvanna Republicans simply demonstrated their strong support for the 5th District's conservative champion. Go Virgil. God Bless America.
