He's the Great One for a reason, and he did dominate his era for sure , but you have to admit that goaltending clinic from 1:00 to 1:15 by Mike Liut or whoever the fuck it was was Bantam hockey caliber and would no doubt help to inflate numbers compared to today's goaltenders. Fuck i bet i could have scored a goal against Liut while running around with a pair of work boots on.

@n0ts0smarty you are too dumb for words. do you know how better the overall skill of the average hockey player is today? you cant dominate like gretzky did back then today. for one there's a salary cap. plus crosby putting up 130 points with kunitz and dupuis would have been as impressive if not more impressive then gretzkys 200 point seasons. i know you are gonna sit at home and look at your stats but you have no idea how much better the game is in every aspect of it's entirety.
