Tidus is a Dream as u can say. Sin was the thing that took Tidus to the Future. Auron didnt take him to meet his father Auron thought his father died then was Shock to know that Tidus dad was Sin. You got this wrong.

Tidus died thousands years ago but he got sent to the future. Then he met Yuna. Later, Tidus and Yuna fall in love. So at the end, Tidus had change the future. Yuna had to die at the end but it wasn't Yuna's story, it was Tidus's story. So at Final Fantasy X-2, it was Yuna's story. So, Yuna and Tidus are back together again.

Tidus died a thousand years ago but Auron took him to the future to meet his father. then Tidus felt in love with Yuna. So at the end, Yuna was suppose to die but Tidus changed the future so Yuna didn't die. So Yuna sent Tidus to far plane. then Yuna was alive at the end

Zanarkan was destroy 1000 years before final fantasy X the zanarkand show at the start of the game is called dream world and tidus is a dream as well a new persona from the memories of shuyin and the real zanarkand. Tidus was not pull into the future that his believe at first but then he realize that he was pull out from dream world into the real one and finally Aroun known that sin was jecht and he takes tidus to meet his father and put a end to his agony and save spira as well.
