I need help with WoW model viewer!

I downloaded the latest version of WoW model viewer and everytime I try to open it says "The application has failed to start because its side-by-side configuration is incorrect."
I have Vista if that makes a difference...

idk, I have the exact same problem, posted on the modelviewer forums but haven't received a response, I've got vista to so maybe it has something to do with that?

yup unfortunately it does have to do with vista. I started getting this error whenever I wanted to open up messenger and I seriously thought I was never going to be able to resolve it but luckily I did. Try following my new video: "How to Get Rid of the Vista Error when Opening up Windows Live Messenger"

the same thing happened to me but with my virus scanner

Try downloading the big fixed one, last on the list. but then the glitch is that the skin is totally black. :(
