Radiohead - Life In A Glasshouse
Live on Later... With Jools Holland
2001
4 / 11

Lyrics:
Once again, I'm in trouble with my only friend
She is papering the window panes
She is putting on a smile
Living in a glass house

Once again, packed like frozen food and battery hens
Think of all the starving millions
Don't talk politics and don't throw stones
Your royal highnesses

Well of course I'd like to sit around and chat
Well of course I'd like to stay and chew the fat
Well of course I'd like to sit around and chat
But someone's listening in.

Once again, we are hungry for a lynching
That's a strange mistake to make
You should turn the other cheek
Living in a glass house

Well of course I'd like to sit around and chat
Well of course I'd like to stay and chew the fat
Well of course I'd like to sit around and chat
But someone's listening in.

  • the whole lot..but Humph....so so wonderful

  • What's Ed playing?

  • the only band that can bring in 3 old guys with a trumpet, trombone, and clarinet and make it awesome

  • 1:59 .....H.O.L.Y. C.R.A.P.

  • Hump...with Radiohead Sublime to ridiculous! FTW

  • @McSugusBaro Disagree. it is special

  • I want to hug the three old men playing winds. they make this SO incredibly beautiful goddamnit

  • im sorry it would be so rad to be a roadie for radiohead but it would suck...so much gear to set up

  • @MrMTeee That's because it's 60 bpm (that is, a beat every second), it's not that special. It's a typically picked slow tempo, because it's a round number.
