Overview of the 2010 Global Hawk Pacific mission, or GloPac. GloPac is the first scientific research mission flown on the Global Hawk unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV). This autonomous research aircraft can fly up to 65,000 feet, and remain aloft for up to 30 hours continuously. Pilots operate the aircraft remotely at the Global Hawk Operations Center at Dryden Flight Research Center, Edwards, California.
