  • I have a watch like this one (but with yellow dial),

and it's awesome! If i wearing it on my wrist, the temperature indicator shows uncorrect values. The compass is accurately. It's a little bit big, but thanks to the silicone it's very comfortable! Indiglo is useless, beacuse the lume.

  • The temp will always be incorrect if you are wearing the watch. It's a limitation of the sensor, not a malfunction in any way.

If you held a mercury thermometer to your forehead all day, it would not show you the correct air temp, same for these watches.

  • i saw this watch a couple of days back and just fell in love with it..... did some research and have decided to buy it..... it's $200 here in India against $100 from where you bought it but still i think i will go for it... what say???

and by the by, thanks for this review :)

  • Wow, for 200$, I really don't know.

If you are totally in love with the watch, beauty is in the eye of the beholder, and you need to decide if that is too steep for this watch.

Personally, I could find something better to buy for 200$. You are only 20-30$ away from something like a Suunto Core, etc.

This watch is very cool, but thats a lot of money for any Timex. I would wait to find one used somewhere if I were you.

  • Oh!!!!!! well i know it's a bit expensive but i am head over heels with this watch......

Could you please suggest a particular model in Suunto Core??? i just checked and found out that there is no Suunto Shop in our city :'( i would have to get from other cities which is a pain....... but do suggest..??!!!!!

  • I like the Suunto Core All Black, my review is coming soon.

    Try Ebay - I found a couple on EbayUS for 195, 210.

If you like the Timex, you should buy it if you find a good price. The watch is worth the price paid if you love it and keep it.

The way you will get burned is if you try to resell it later, because probably no one else will pay 200$ for it.

  • I have this watch. It's nice but the buttons stick out too much and when you bend your wrist back it activates the buttons.

  • Ferragamo has a very similar watch. When I told the sales person that Timex has a very similar watch, I was told that Times is the licensee for Ferragamo and makes all their watches..................................just different material, different movement, and different price..........haha

  • @thedjcamacho how often do u actually need to read the temperature on a normal day? taking the watch off for a few minutes isn't too much of an act in my opinion. if u r on a hike u can hold the watch by the strap on the go so u r not even losing time.

  • @Jocee888 as pointed out if u want to measure the temperature u should take it off and wait a few minutes

  • i want this watch so bad. but would it work if u pushed and pulled the buttons under water. and would the compass still work under water?

  • Excellent Job Dude! Kudos! Brilliant commentary. "....seconds needle does not line up, makes me fell like throwing in trash.." lol

  • can u plz tell me how to activate the inglow ie which button !

  • Is it still cool?
