Back sleeping is good too, and only has a higher incidence of snoring! Supported side sleep is most recommended, back sleep is next. If you back sleep, it is a good idea to place a pillow under your knees, to support and comfort the low back.

what type of bed is she on, and what is the exact model. I have tried to sleep on my side on a new pillowtop mattress that i bought and get pain in my ribs, pelvis and back, i think essentias memory foam mattress would be my best bet, but is there any cheaper mattresses i could get that could offer good support, the one in this video looks good, what is it?

@un4getable44 : The mattress in the video is a Serta

Thank you for the informative video. I am a 55 year old overweight male and chronic stomach sleeper. I am having a sleep study done next week for possible sleep apnea. Perhaps my fatigue problems are more a function of sleep position.

@wa4aos :
I believe sleep position is a highly overlooked wellness factor as well as sleep disorder consideration. Before we developed Teardrop Body Pillows, it was difficult to solve stomach sleep habits. Now we can make a position change that is quite easy for the chronic stomach sleeper.
