  • This guy is awesome

  • @Reerpad5515 Re: hypocrisy, "licence to embrace" (your words) seem a bit strong, I think an attempt to "recognize and account" for it was made,it needed 2be.

I say all hail 2 "self-criticism (or ridicule)*. The alternative is to adhere to a fundamentalist like perspective (don't really want to go there!+no JOY! lol)

I'm typing something here (in 400 chrcters) which rings true 2 me n 4 fun. Maybe it might ring true 2 some1 else out there, maybe it won't.Found d Bosnian pyramid comment hilarious..

  • @Reerpad5515 Hey noworries, I'm assuming the stridency to atheism u refer 2 is @d after discussion (0:55ish) where he was making a point about needing joyfulness in r discourse? Strange, even as an atheist, I don't see any inconsistency in the context used, seems 2b a useful and apt observation.

Anyway, the way I c it, is a guy is trying to build a discussion, like some stairs 4 us to climb, if u choose 2 stand really close to it and pick on single/few bricks, your choice. I thought he did well.

  • Wow! Well said.

  • Republicans are raging corporatists, but democrats are light corporatists nonetheless.

  • Bosnian Pyramids are larger than the Egypt Pyramids, As is the Pyramid of Quetzecotl, as in the Great White Pyramid in China. There is much hidden truths guys that even this guy isn't aware of...

  • @thehuemonmon I did not mean to say that his performance as a whole, or his message, was faulty, only that this one inconsistency seemed rather glaring in a presentation he must have prepared beforehand.

@thehuemonmon Saying that we are all hypocrites does not give one the license to embrace hypocrisy. Nor does it make much sense to ridicule a movement whose core goals and methods so neatly match your own. Such a move becomes self-criticism.

  • @Reerrpad5515 He prefaces his perfrmance quite apprpriately, ie:"we will attempt 2 tell the truth but understnd that we will fail terribly becos we r liars and hypocrites all". His perfrmance bravely tries 2make sense ofa system dat stifles us with r hypocrisy (ie: r we really the "land of the free" or r "we the land where we r free to exploit our fellow citizens?/earthly brothers?").He preps us by recognsg r hypocrisy sodat we canget on wit the business of attemptng2 understnd our current state

  • @Reerrpad5515 Hi, I think you picked up something that was prevalent in his whole performance. The whole thing grates on ones nerves! ie: for me, the stridency was not strictly associated with what you mentioned. The thing is that you've got to listen, because within what he says, as a whole, contains some insight and rings of some truth about the current state of things.

  • Humanity is cheerfully dynamic beyond our abstract logics, even those advanced ones, can depict.
