Thankfully, we have second emergency regulator, But still, this skill is very important.

I prefer to hold my mask too just to make sure it won't be removed by the air stream.

In cold water the first stage can freeze resulting in a free flow. Practicing this prepares you for it. It can also happen as a result of malfunction even in warm water, but this happens more rarely

I didn't want my bubbles to obscure the view you have of how i am biting the mouthpiece, there were a few some out of my nose.
