Clip starts from atop the Baker Bridge which spans the Animas River several miles north of Durango. Footage shows the Animas running at high water--approximately 5,500 cfs presently. Incredibly, as I stood on the bridge, a person walked onto the bridge with the intention of jumping into the raging river below---about a 50 foot drop from the bridge--wearing a flotation vest. Nearby cyclists cheered him on and he made the jump--a back flip--perfectly into the river. Unreal!
